About me
I'm Clinton Otse, a software engineer who ships real-money products, from investment platforms processing $10K+ in daily transactions to a live Solana trading terminal I founded and built solo.
Over five-plus years, I've built for the environments where software failures cost actual money: 3.5 years at CardinalStone, a Nigerian investment firm, developing real-time portals, payment systems, and financial reporting tools used daily by clients and staff; and in Web3, where I created Mainstay (mainstay.pro), an MEV-protected Solana DEX terminal that routes swaps through order-flow auctions and measurably saves traders money on every trade - with prediction market trading, limit orders, and multi-wallet support built in.
My work has won two hackathons in the past year: the Colosseum Cypherpunk Hackathon (DeFiGuard, a multi-agent DeFi risk monitoring system spanning 12 chains) and the Civic Auth Hackathon (GratiFi, a Solana creator tipping platform). I work across the stack - React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Solana web3.js, PostgreSQL - but what I care about most is the same thing users do: products that are fast, trustworthy, and actually shipped.
